Lending a helping hand |
So you want to put our videos on your site, but you aren't sure how? It's totally easy, we'll walk you through it.
Go to the page of the video you want to grab and scroll down to the bottom.
Copy the embed code from the box.
Every website works differently, so here is how to do it on some of the more common ones:
Myspace: sign in, go to "edit profile", and paste the code in the part of your profile that you want the video to appear in. The most common place is under "I'd Like To Meet" or "About Me". Click "Save All Changes" and you're done.
Facebook: this one is easy, just click the "Share this video on Facebook" link on the page of the video you want to grab and follow the instructions from there.
Friendster: sign in, click "Edit Profile", click on the "Customize" tab, scroll down, and paste the code from the video on our site that you want to embed into the "Add Media" section.
Wordpress blog: Wordpress has an annoying little bug in blogs that are pre v2.1, so to embed in older WP installs you have to make sure you are not using the Rich Text Editor. To switch out of it you need to disable the checkbox in your user account. If you are using v2.1 or later, you need to just paste the code in the "Code" tab of the editor.
Any other website that accepts HTML should accept the embed code, if it doesn't work on yours, contact your webmaster.
