
![]() | 1980 – Roy Geva was born in Rishon Le Zion, Israel – in a time when it was still full of Sand. He grew up while listening to pristine israely music, and inherited loads of tapes and lp's from his big brother and sister. 1989 – Roy bought his first 'heavy metal' tape, starting a long run of album collecting by the hundreds out of love for the listening experience and the lyrical content. 1995 – Started playing the Bass Guitar, adding the piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and the keyboards into his arsenal along the way. Roy also started studying music theory, developing a musical ear and an understanding of harmony along the way. 1997-8 – Joined a rock band, playing bass guitar, while writing and arranging the songs with his band-mates. At this point, Roy started incorporating various effects and techniques to his playing, getting his unique sound playing 5-stringed bass. 2000 –Moved to NYC for 7 months with nothing but a friend, his guitar and his songs. 2002 – Studied sound design in “Sound” school in Tel Aviv. After completing his studies at “Sound”, Roy’s studio started to slowly take shape. It was designated to be a place for working on personal projects, soundtracks and other collaborations. Years have passed and varied projects were completed: Electronic, Rock, Metal, Trance, and Acoustic music, created for soundtracks, internet and other productions. The studio is now fully equipped, ready for every task, and is being updated and upgraded constantly – being constantly prepared to the next interesting project. |
